William Lindo went to school in the United States, excelling in different areas including Physics and Maths, Civil Engineering, Philosophy and Political Economy and Naval Architecture. After he returned to Belize he became a pioneer in several areas including printing and agriculture. He also has a background in journalism. While Bill Lindo remains a man driven to innovation in widely diverse areas of business, he has been devoted to politics in Belize for over 40 years. He has served on various executives of the PUP in that time, and has played an integral role in the campaigns of successful politicians including George Price, Said Musa, Joe Coye, Dolores Garcia, and Cordel Hyde. He currently heads the Research and Development arm of the National Executive for the People’s United Party in Belize.
